[edit] Description

An allergy can refer to several kinds of immune reactions.

Allergy is a very common disorder and more than 50 million Americans suffer from allergic diseases. Allergies are the sixth leading cause of chronic disease in the United States.

Allergies are often linked to one or more symptoms through the reaction relationship. An allergy might also be linked to a cause such as a medication, food or other factors.
